At Tulane University, Dr. Joseph Holland played baseball on the 2005 College World Series team, then professionally in the Midwest until retiring in 2007. He completed his biology degree at Texas A&M University, then received his dental degrees and certificate in periodontics from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. During his periodontics residency, Dr. Holland co-authored a research study on advanced healing protocols.
